Victoria Day Weekend in Boston

Over the Victoria Day weekend we headed down to Boston. We had a great time there visiting the New England Aquarium, follow the Freedom Trail to the Boston Commons and the Boston Children's Museum. The children's museum was particularly awesome. They did a great job of putting it together and the 3 story jungle jim was amazing.

We even lucked out and got to see my Dad, Sue, Chad and Allie while we were there if only for one day.

More pictures can be found here.

Does this Logo Look Obscene to You?

Apparently it does to some Christian rights groups in the United States. I'm going to have to file this under people who have too much time on their hands.

On a related note, we spent the weekend down in Boston and they have rolled out the new logo and new blend, Pike Place Roast, at a number of their stores. I have not seen any changes in our Canadian stores as of yet.

Tulip Festival 2008

We took a run down to the Tulip Festival at Dows Lake on Saturday while Grand Dad was in town. There sure were some pretty looking flowers. My favourite were The Mounties which share the same red colour as our RCMP. You can check out all the pictures here.

Coffee Related News

Some coffee related news that I've negligent in posting:

And my buddy tells me that Zavida has been bought out by Second Cup but I haven't been able to find confirmation. There goes my office away from the office in Kanata as I bet Second Cup will kill the free wifi Zavida used to offer.
